Deaf Teams did it again at 3rd National Disability Games 2004!
 

The National Disability Games is held in August annually. The event organized by Singapore Disability Sports Council had its the opening ceremony at Pasir Ris Park on 14 August 2004. The 5-side Street Soccer Tournament and Bowling Tournament were the highlights on that day.

Four deaf teams participated in the 5-side street soccer tournament at Pasir Ris Park and raced for the top place. The teams were Red Devils, Greece, Red Liverpool and Deaf United. During the competition, they battled to decide the winner. Deaf United became the champion while the runner-up was Red Devils. Congratulations to the winning teams!

At Pasir Ris NTUC Bowl, 20 deaf senior bowlers participated in the Bowling Tournament while 15 SSD students also joined in. The result were:

Men Open

1st – Lim Teck Kee
2nd – Ong Poh Cheng
3rd – Tan Chan Wing

1st – Dolly Mok 
2nd – Hokit
3rd – Woo Hui Ling

As for the other games, the Stationery Cycling event was held at the Civil Service Club located at Tessensohn Road. Our deaf cyclist, Soh Tiong Leong bagged the champion trophy for finishing the 20km in the Men's Category while Christina Lee finished first in the Women's Category.
