SRCDeaf Volunteer Recruitment

Sports & Recreation Committee of the Deaf (SRCDeaf) would like to apply for all the Deaf members of the Deaf Community to join as a volunteer in our upcoming sports events.

SRCDeaf is the national body for the deaf sports since it received ordinary membership in International Committee of the Sports for the Deaf (CISS) recognized by the International Olympic Committee.

We achieved few local championships such as 1st National Deaf Bowling Championship in 2002, 1st Deaf Volleyball Beach Championship in 2003 and 1st National Deaf Street Soccer Championship in 2004. This year, we are proud to host two championships:

1st Deaf Futsal Championship on 18 September 2005

1st Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Leadership Camp (Seminar) 2005 from 15 - 18 December 2005

2nd National Deaf Bowling Championship on 17 December 2005.

We have more sports events lining up for 2006 and 2007 and even move towards the bigger events in future. We urge the Deaf members of the Deaf Community to come forward and volunteer for the deaf sports. Stand as a deaf unity in bringing glory and pride to Singapore. Our top achievement hopes to see at least one gold medal won by a Deaf Singaporean in Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Games and Deaflympics Games.
