Sports and Recreation Committee
of the Deaf (SRCDeaf)
has a long history that dates back to 1974. It was started
primarily as a Social Group for the Deaf to promote and carry on
sports and social activities. Over the years, historical events
had taken place in the SADeaf but what is significant is that
the Committee, beside upholding traditions, has kept abreast of
the times and remains relevant to the changes that have taken
place in Singapore. To this end, it was renamed as Sports and
Recreational Committee of the Deaf. As a premier sporting
Committee, we continue to play a dominant role in the promotion
of sports at all levels in Singapore and to identify ourselves
with the Singapore Community at large.
VISION
SRCDeaf
is the premier sports
and social club for the Deaf Community in Singapore. SRCDeaf has been instrumental in
organising social and
recreational activities for the Deaf Community and continues to
be a hive of vibrant activities throughout the years to benefit
the Deaf people. It aims to promote Deaf sports culture and
achieve greater heights and excellence in sporting events.
